Northampton Police Department arrest April 4, 2023

Northampton police pull a woman from her car and pepper-spray her during a traffic stop on April 4, 2023, after stopping her over because her headlight was out.

WOW NPD!! I didn't know you employed such scared, trigger-happy, under-educated, immature, overweight, humans and call them "officers"!! There are about a dozen different, peaceful ways this could have gone down and it is up to our local law enforcement to be setting the right example and DE-ESCALATE a situation, not get frustrated by a language barrier - watching this, I was as confused as she seemed to be - a broken headlight and driving a 1/4 mile with blue lights behind you are NOT causes for this kind of reckless pull-over and subsequent VIOLENCE!

The cop obviously doesn't even give a good enough job explaining why she was pulled over, he just didn't like her being confused, and so his frustration literally carries the whole night here, as he resorts to violence with no explanation as to WHY HE'S ENTERING HER CAR & TACKLING HER! Let's call a friend so he can back you up! Other officer shows up without knowing squat about the altercation and goes right for the pepper spray JFC!! A town/public voice like Northampton's would shock me if they tolerated these men to remain on the force.
